Iran-Venezuela-Ahmadinejad
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad cabled here on Monday a message to his Venezuelan counterpart Hugo Chavez to felicitate him, his government and nation on the country's National Day.

There is no doubt that the success of the Venezuelan people in attaining independence is in line with aspirations of this oppressed nation in Latin America which is source of pride and happiness for true advocates of freedom around the globe, he said.

Creation of multipolar alliances with countries in the South will open a new chapter for expansion of multilateral cooperation at international fora, he said.

"We hope expansion of brotherly and strategic cooperation between Iran and Venezuela will meet the two nations' interests and help seriously deal with challenges and obstacles created by global arrogance for nations," he said.
