Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini called here on Saturday recent allegation made US Republican presidential candidate senator John McCain as 'unethical' and 'shameful'.

Such remarks only indicates his spiteful thoughts that are used in US foreign policy.

Denouncing these comments, Hosseini expressed regret over such illogical reasoning.

According to the Information and Press Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hosseini said politicians who hold the fates of a civilization in their hands should mind their words.

Two civilized nations of Iran and the US fully denounce such views and would remember them, he said.

US republican presidential candidate John McCain on reacting to a report of rising US cigarette exports to Iran said "It may be a way of killing 'em."
