Britain-Terrorism
Referring to the de-proscription of the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) in Britain, the members of the Edalat (Justice) Society emphasized that the British government is legitimizing the global terrorism.
Talking with the Iranian news agency IRNA, the members of the Edalat Society who are the victims of the MKO terrorist activities inside Iran held the British government responsible for the past and future terrorist acts of the MKO.
Mr. Alireza Dastbaz, a food stuff vendor in the Tehran district of Khazaneh Bokharai, who was subject to assassination in 1984 and has lost both arms up to the elbow referred to the way the MKO operated on him and asked: "How would those who excluded MKO from the list of terrorist groups contend with their consciences?"
He then concluded: "the MKO terrorist cult is responsible for the death of many Iranian people in all levels. They terrorized many using different methods while the international communities kept silent in those days. Now after many years the British government is trying to support this organization to be used as a tool again."
Dastbaz came up with the question that: "What had I done, as a shopkeeper in my area that the MKO amputated my arms?" He then asked:
"what would be the reaction of the British government and the British people if the terrorists had terrorized the Britons and a foreign county had supported them?"
While he indicated that the British government is taking the responsibility of all blood shed in Iran he added: "Although the MKO might serve the British government as good terrorists for a while, but soon these individuals would cause many troubles for the government and for the people of Britain."
Zahra Sobhani, daughter of martyred Javad Sobhani who was assassinated by the MKO terrorist cult in 1981 said: "My father was a home appliances vendor and I was 17 then. I severely suffered mentally when my father was martyred." When she was asked for what charges her father was assassinated she expressed that: "According to the statement issued by the MKO after killing my father his guilt was supporting the Islamic Republic of Iran!"
Sobhani while indicating that she is following the path of her father which is to move in the line of Imam Khomeini said: "We are sorry to learn that the British government is sponsoring the elements of terror in Iran."
She referred to the British government's act of de-proscribing the MKO terrorist cult and added: "We do wish that the terrorist groups regret their past deeds and defect their leaders, but we also wish to ask on what bases one could conclude that the MKO terrorist cult have changed their nature that the British government has excluded their name from the list of terrorist groups?!"
The daughter of a martyr reminded that: "The leader of the MKO terrorist cult has recently threatened the people of Iran again for starting the military operations which show that they have not changed their stances and do believe that terrorism is the best and only option for them."
She referred to the British foreign secretary who stated some time ago that the MKO terrorist cult has not changed its course of terror and said: "The British government showed with her recent action that she believes terrorism could be used for political goals and terrorist actions in the line of their benefits could be considered as good terrorism and those against their interests are of course bad terrorism.
