Hasan Sepehri the son of martyred Abulqasem Sepehri said: "The MKO have announced that they have not committed any terrorist act inside Iran since 2001, but are they prepared to announce it officially and openly ? The MKO are terrorists by nature and rationally they must be measured regarding their nature." Sepehri emphasized that: "The MKO must be put on trial in the international courts and they must beg the pardon of both nations of Iran and Iraq for cooperating with the regime of Saddam Hussein in committing crimes against both the Iranians and the Iraqis." Iraj Moradi the son of martyred Ebrahim Moradi a blacksmith who was assassinated by the MKO terrorists on 9th of June 1984 at 8 am said: "My father was active in social and charity works besides his job and like many other Iranians was helping the combatants to defend the Iranian soil against foreign assaults and this is how he proved his loyalty to Islam and to Iran."
He evaluated the British government decision to remove the name of MKO from the list of terrorist groups as a political decision too and said: "In my opinion London's attempt is beyond the decision of the British statesmen and the Zionist lobby is behind it all." Moradi quoted the saying of the British foreign secretary who had stated that the MKO terrorist cult has not yet denounced its armed struggle strategy, and affirmed that "Up to now the group has not put aside its emblem, leadership, weapons, and garrisons and is still busy doing military parades and trainings."
They need a state sponsorship like Saddam Hussein's regime to actualize their military capacity and at the moment the occupying Israeli regime is playing that role under the guise of Britain for the MKO."
This member of the Edalat Society continued saying: "the British government made the bitter memory of its past deeds alive in the Iranian pubic opinion."
He pointed out that Mr. Brown the British Prime Minister is going to play the role of Saddam Hussein, the deposed dictator of Iraq, and said: "As far as the Edalat Society is concerned, one could trace the footprint of the Zionist regime in the affair of de-proscribing the MKO."
This victim of terrorism stated that appeasing Israel is the main object of the decision made by the British government for the MKO and emphasized that the mastermind of this project is "Lord Corbett" a member of British Parliament who is known as the "Lord of Terror".
Moradi explained about excluding the MKO from the list of terrorist groups in Britain and said that "there are two views in this respect. The first is that the MKO has stopped terrorist activities and this is why they are de-proscribed. According to the British foreign secretary they have not officially stopped terrorism and the British government is still having doubts about them. They should clarify how they were convinced they have stopped terrorism while they have kept their emblem, leader, core slogans such as armed struggle, and wearing uniforms and have not changed any of these things. But if the British are convinced that they have put aside all these things they would better announce it in order to convince us too." Moradi continued: "In the second point of view, the British decision could be considered to be a merely political one and they are about to use the elements of this group as tools."
The member of Edalat Society emphasized that: "The Iranians do believe that Britain wants the MKO to be terrorists and if one day they wish to put aside arms, Israel and Britain would object it. The MKO is useful for the western powers as long as they are terrorists." Moradi pointed out that the MKO lost their moral godfather when Saddam Hussein was toppled and during past five years they were looking for a substitute for Saddam Hussein in the west. He predicted that the members of this terrorist cult would enter new terrorist task with the backing of the British government.
Moradi stated at the end that: "the UN and also France as the head of the European Union must be responsive to this problem and prevent reproducing terrorists in the world and stop legitimizing it." In the end of this meeting, the spokesperson of the Edalat Society handed over a letter to the IRNA reporter written by Ms. Elhami who has lost one leg as a consequence of the MKO mortar attacks inside cities.
