President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday that Iranians are a peace-seeking nation.

Making the remark at a news conference on the sidelines of D8 summit, Ahmadinejad added that the Iranian nation advocates justice and friendship among all world nations.

The president further called on Europeans to separate their own fates from that of the US, underlining that the Iranian nation will powerfully defend its rights and is determined to resist aggressions and injustice.

Ahmadinejad also advised big powers to stop tyranny, crime and selfishness.
