President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived in the Malaysian capital on Monday morning to attend the sixth Summit of leaders of the Eight Islamic Developing Countries (D-8).

The president was welcomed at the airport by Malaysian Foreign Minister Rais Yatim.

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and Iran's Ambassador to Kuala Lumpur Mehdi Khandaq-Abadi were also present at Kuala Lumpur airport.

President Ahmadinejad is expected to address the D-8 Summit tomorrow.
