Iran-Envoy-Attack
Iran's Ambassador to Kuwait stressed that Israel attack on the Islamic Republic is improbable.
Talking to reporters, Ali Jannati added that Israel is well aware of Iran's potentials and capabilities.
"Israel is too small to attack Iran," he reiterated.
He added, "Israel can never invade Iran since it is well aware of the country's potentials and capabilities as well as the consequences of such an attack, therefore it will not make such adventurism." Domestic situation inside the US and Israel as well as the regional and international conditions will not let Tel Aviv and Washington invade Iran, the Iranian envoy said.
He further stressed that closure of Hormuz Strait will be Iran's last alternative against the US and the Zionists threats.
Iran will shut down the Hormuz Strait in order to defend itself, he said, adding that the move will be Iran's last alternative.
Meanwhile, Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces Major General Hassan Firouzabadi said on Saturday that the Islamic Republic of Iran's strategy is to keep the Strait of Hormuz, in southern Iran, open.
Firouzabadi added, "If the country's interests are jeopardized in the region, we will not let any ship pass through the Strait of Hormuz."
