Some two Kabul-based dailies 'Anis' and 'Eslah' appreciated the Islamic Republic's 350-million-dollar assistance for rebuilding Afghanistan.
The dailies also printed the photo of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and highlighted Iran-Afghan historical, cultural and religious commonalities.
They said that historical amity between the two nations are the main reasons behind the Tehran-Kabul close relations.
Meanwhile, Iranian ambassador to Kabul said the Islamic Republic has spent dlrs 300 million to rebuild Afghanistan over the past several years.
"Iran and Afghanistan have had good political, cultural and economic relations and no foreign country could do any harm to the clear and transparent atmosphere of friendship between the two countries," Fada Hossein Maleki.
He added, "Interactions between Iran and Afghanistan have always been at best levels since Bonn Meeting and Paris Conference." Maleki said that new round of contacts between the two countries has opened a new outlook.
The one-day meeting attended by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Afghan President Hamid Karzai and representatives from over 80 world countries and regional and international organizations.
In Paris, the Afghan government asked donors to help fund a $50 billion five-year national development plan.
In return, the donors will demand that Kabul do more to fight corruption in what is one of the world's poorest states.
More than six years after US-led forces ousted the Taliban that sheltered Osama bin Laden, Afghanistan is afflicted by corruption, the drug trade and daily violence.
The Paris conference is a show of support for the Afghan people and an opportunity to review development and security strategy.
The last Afghan donors conference was held in London in 2006.
