An informed source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Tuesday that recent report by Washington Post on opening US interest section in Tehran has only been reflected in the media without clear motives.

Washington Post published an article Monday on 'opening of a US interests section staffed by US senior diplomats' in Tehran.

In principle, Iranian officials will only study proposals received through official channels, said the source.
