Foreign Ministry spokesman, Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said on Monday that Iran and EU have made proposals on resumption of talks which are under study.

He made the remarks while addressing domestic and foreign reporters during his weekly press briefing.

As to the recent visit to Tehran of the EU foreign policy chief, Javier Solana and the package of incentives from the Group 5+1 to Iran, he said several proposals suggested by the EU are in need of more consideration.

Tehran will consider the proposals and will announce its views at an appropriate time, he added.

On Iran's package of proposals, Hosseini said Mr Solana reiterated that there were common views in the two packages.
