Palestinians' religious rights violated at verge of Jewish state's 60th birthday Part II

Tehran, May 15, IRNA

Palestine-Religious Rights-60th Anniversary
As earlier mentioned, the Zionists resorted to various methods aimed at securing their objective of destroying the Islamic and Christian identity of the Palestinian nation.

Such methods included destroying their religious centers, insulting their sanctities and sacred values, confiscation of their endowments and turning them into synagogues, restaurants, shops nd even barns, and refraining entire efforts made aimed at reconstruction of them, or performing prayers and religious rituals at them.

Tel Aviv has also always blocked the way for allocation of budgets to non-Jewish religious centers and refrained from recognition of them, avoided taking physical care of them, and deprived them of getting state funds that are necessary for keeping such mainly historic sites from wear and tear of the time, thus paving the path also for their gradual annihilation.

In addition to those nasty measures, the extremist Jews that are enjoying full support of the Jewish counterfeit government often invade the few remaining mosques inflicting heavy losses against them, and at times totally destroy them using strong bombs, that they naturally gain through channels within the terrorist nurturing Jewish state and the Israeli military forces.

The Israeli Army, itself, is among the main invaders against the mosques and is put in charge of confiscating the properties inside them, such as copies of the Glorious Qur'an and the lands around mosques, shutting them closed, or refraining entire efforts aimed at mending their torn out parts, thus contributing greatly to their eventual collapse.

According to Al-Aqsa Mosque's Statistical Center, 41 historic mosques and shrines throughout Palestine have been turned into ruins resorting to the latter method.

In addition to that, the Israeli Armed Forces do not permit performance of congregational prayers at mosques, or even reciting the Holy 'Adhan' (Call for Prayers) on pretext that performing such rituals can lead to other non-religious activities, but in fact aimed at exerting more pressure over the Muslims and depriving them of their most natural religious rights.

Meanwhile, the government of Tel Aviv appointed the congregational prayer leaders at entire occupied territories after 1948 in order to exert full control over the Muslims and pays them monthly salaries, which naturally leads to their dependence and their adopting of conservative policies regarding the harsh methods applied by the Zionists against the Palestinian Muslims.

Insulting the sanctity of the Islamic cemeteries can be categorized within the same policies. ever since 1948, 410 Islamic cemeteries were destroyed resorting to various pretexts, such as construction of roads, factories, industrial zones, or even expansion of farms.

Most of the Palestinians' remaining cemeteries, too, are governed under the supervision of the Israeli Lands Association (ILA), that quite often allocates them to farming, or other miscellaneous purposes.

For instance in April 2004 the Matz Construction Company used the grave stones stolen from the cemeteries of Tira Village in the south of Haifa for construction of the walls of a Zionist township at Tiral Kermel.

Meanwhile, when the Palestinian village Al-Ammar Sarfand was first evacuated and then turned into a Zionist township, its Islamic cemetery at it was turned into a football play ground!
Also in the year 1993 a cemetery in Messica Village was plowed and prepared for agricultural activities of Zionist farmers!
