The National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Majlis is to study current crisis in Lebanon, head of the commission said on Tuesday.

Alaeddin Boroujerdi said here Tuesday that the recent developments in Lebanon are another 33-day war between the Zionist regime and Lebanese people from political point of view, which brought another victory for Hizbollah and the Lebanese people.

The US and its European allies have attempted to repeat the acts they had perpetrated during the 33-day war, by hatching political conspiracies, he added.

They seek to reduce the power of Hizbollah in political arena of the country, but the vigilance and popularity of the movement have helped the Lebanese people foil enemies' plots, he said.

The US and Zionist Regime have been defeated in their policy on Lebanon once more, Boroujerdi said.
