Foreign Ministry spokesman, Mohammad-Ali Hosseini, said on Sunday that the root cause of all regional crises is the racist, aggressive and illegitimate regime of Tel Aviv.

Addressing his weekly press conference, the Iranian diplomat drew the attention of the international community to the critical situation in the occupied territories, Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

He called for efforts to be made by the international bodies to reduce the sufferings of the oppressed Palestinian nation.

Hosseini condemned massacre of defenseless people in Gaza Strip and the West bank, assassination of combatants and activists, vast destruction of infrastructures of Gaza, violation of international norms, destruction of the Islamic historical sites.

He said that the UN nuclear agency is responsible to monitor Israeli nuclear activities and stockpiling weapons of mass destruction.

He further regretted that such crimes are being committed with the support of certain big powers, particularly the United States.

Hosseini urged the global community, the Muslim countries in particular, to counter Israeli crimes against humanity and make efforts to administer justice and restore rights of the Palestinian nation.
