Saudi Envoy-Iran-Lebanon
Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Lebanon said here Friday relying on cooperation with Iran's Ambassador, we will try to extinguish flames of crisis in Lebanon.
According to IRNA's Beirut Bureau, Abdul-Aziz Khoje made the comment in an interview with Al-Arabia TV, adding, "The Islamic Republic of Iran's Ambassador has informed us that the Hezbollah still insists on its previous stands on need for Fouad Siniora Government's reversing of its recent decision on Hezbollah's special communication network and firing the security manager of Beirut Airport."
The Saudi envoy had also a few days ago contacted Iran's Ambassador to beirut Mohammad-Reza Sheibani and sought Iran's assistance to solve the existing differences between the two major political groups in that country.
Khoje added, "Saudi Arabia tries to find a way out of the ongoing crisis in Lebanon relying on other Arab countries' assistance." On Friday, the opposition forces attacked and conquered the militia centers of the ruling group, and disarmed them.
