Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday that serving the great Iranian nation is a sign of divine blessing for all officials.

Addressing local officials in Fars province, the Supreme Leader said you should be thankful to God for such a blessing.

Fars province is the cradle of educated and well-known historical and literary personalities who played a key role in the country's development, said Ayatollah Khamenei.

"Many prominent poets have been laid in rest in the province which demonstrates beautiful aspects of creation," pointed out the Supreme Leader.

Ayatollah Khamenei said prominent historical figures bring self-confidence to the nation.

The Supreme Leader thanked the people in Fars province for their very warm hospitality during his stay in the province.

Ayatollah Khamenei also gave some recommendations to local officials on how to deal with draught in the province.
