Lebanon-Municipal delegation-Iran
A high ranking Tehran's Municipal delegation conferred with Lebanon Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.

Tehran Mayor Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf and Head of Tehran's City Council Mehdi Chamran met with Nabih Berri in Beirut on Thursday.

In the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest developments in Lebanon as well as services rendered by Tehran municipality to the Beirut municipality and other districts of Lebanon, especially in the framework of rebuilding the country after Israeli invasion into Lebanon in summer 2006.

The Iranian delegation also discussed issues of mutual interest with officials from Beirut municipality union on Thursday, too.

Head of Tehran city council expressed Tehran municipality readiness to give help and put its facilities at disposal of the Lebanon municipalities.
