India-Srinagar-Grenade Blast
At least three children were reportedly killed and ten others injured in a grenade blast that rocked the Batmaloo bus-stand in Srinagar on Thursday.

The injured, six of them reportedly in critical condition, were rushed to a nearby hospital.

Initial reports suggested that the blast was targeted at the civilians, as no security personnel has been injured.

Most of the people injured are not just locals but also Amarnath pilgrims.

The DIG of Jammu and Kashmir confirmed the casualty so far. "We are now investigating into the case and have increased the security force in vital parts of the city," it said.

Following the blast, the Jammu and Kashmir police cordoned off the area.

No terrorist outfit has so far taken responsibility of the blast.
