Iran-Prophets Stories-Publication
Language and Literature Academy has published the Persian version of the book 'Taj Ul-Qesas' (epitome of stories) written by Abu Nasr Ibn Mohammad Bokhari featuring stories about messengers.

The two-volume book is published in 1,000 copies with a preface by Seyyed Ali Aal-e Davoud and has 1,031 pages.

According to the writer, it was written in 475 AH.

Although several other books were compiled earlier in Persian language based on the holy Qur'an on the same subject, the Arabic book is unique in its own kind.

Though it has not a clear division, it can be classified in three chapters dealing with stories about messengers ranging from Adam to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Taj Ul-Qesas is one of the most important Persian texts in the fifth century AH, which was mainly inspired by the holy Qur'an.
