Iran-Tabriz-Allameh Festival
National Festival on three eminent Iranian religious authorities namely Allameh Amini, Tabatabaei and Jafari will be held in Tabriz University in November to appreciate their scientific and research contributions to the society.
Announcing this, director of the Research Institute on the Three Allameh, Ahmad Farshbafian said that the committees for organizing the event have been established and call-up for articles will be published in newspapers.
He further said that unpublished articles and works pertaining to the three noted figures will also be printed and distributed on the sideline of the festival, he said.
Iran's Cultural Office in Azerbaijan Republic has also announced its readiness to hold a two-day seminar in Baku and Tabriz to commemorate the lofty status of Allameh Mohammad Hossein Tabatabaei, Farshbafian said, adding that efforts are underway to organize the event concurrent with the national festival on three prominent religious authorities in Tabriz.
Farshbafian, also an advisor to the chancellor of Tabriz University, further said that five specialized groups on jurisprudence and law, philosophy and discourse, literature and human sciences, politics and international relations have been set up to delve into those works in the modern perspective.
Research Institute on the Three Allameh was founded in Tabriz, East Azarbaijan, in 2001 with the aim of introducing their scientific and Islamic services. It has so far published 32 titles of books.
