Iran-Tehran-Arts Festival
Artists from around the country have been invited to take part in the Second Artistic Festival on Products from Artistic Bureau's Provincial Branches, which the biggest artistic event in the country.

Secretary of the festival Ahmad Mortezaei-Fard said that based on a decision by the festival's Policy-making Council, those involved in the fields of music, performance, literature, visual arts, cinema and photography are to attend the event.

Holding a gathering of painters and photographers nationwide and performing special music program titled 'Iranian Nights' are among the sections of the festival, he said.

Performing plays, organizing workshops on play writing, directing, acting and stage designing, screening short selected films and producing short documentary films are also on the agenda.

Mortezaei-Fard also said that holding exhibitions on photos, calligraphy, graphic designing, miniature and caricature are among the programs to be undertaken by visual artists during the festival.

The Second Festival on Products of Arts Bureau's Provincial Branches will be held in Tehran from December 14-16.

First round of the event was held in Isfahan in winter 2006.
