A meeting on Iran-China cultural relations was held at the head office of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) in Tehran on May 14.
Addressing the conference, Presidential Advisor Mahdi Mostafavi noted that the two countries' cultural ties should further broaden to keep pace with their economic relations.
Referring to the constructive role of cultural interaction, he termed the two countries' relations as valuable, calling for boosting of bilateral relations.
Referring to the age-old relations between the two countries, he underlined that the Islamic Republic holds a positive view on China.
Pointing to the two countries' commonalties, Mostafavi said that Tehran-Beijing relations date back to more than two thousands years ago.
"ICRO is obliged to make different cultures and civilizations acquainted with one another," Mostafavi said.
