Iran-Quake
A tremor measuring three degrees on Richter scale hit the vicinity of Juyom in Larestan district in Fars province on Monday.
According to a report by seismography center affiliated to the Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 13:24 hours local time (08:54 GMT) with its epicenter being located at 28.34 degrees latitude and 53.97 degrees longitude.
There was no immediate report on possible damage.
Iran is often hit by quakes of varying magnitudes as it sits on some of the world's most active seismic fault lines.
