Iran's Cultural Attache in Turkey Farhad Palizdar and a senior official of Ankara Municipality in a meeting here on Tuesday called for bolstering bilateral cultural ties.

At the meeting, Palizdar referred to the commonalties of the two neighboring countries and recalled that some fifty years have elapsed since the first Iran-Turkey cultural agreement was signed.

Palizdar also called for holding joint exhibitions in the fields of art, books, handicrafts, etc and invited Salma Ocour Oghlu to visit Tehran.

Oghlu, for her part, emphasized the need to expand ties in the cultural fields.
