Iranian media men visit China Int'l Radio

A group of Iranian mass media representatives visited the China International Radio here on Monday.

During the visit, the Iranian group emphasized establishment of "Silk Road Media" with China.

Referring to the two countries' commonalities, Chinese officials noted that the establishment of "Silk Road Media" can play a key role in closing the two countries.

The Iranian delegation also visited other parts of the China International Radio especially the Persian part which is operating for more that five decades.

The China International Radio was established in 1941 and the Persian part went on air in October, 1957.

Silk Road which extended 10,000 kilometers, crossing a group of countries, including China, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Asia Minor and Europe, used to serve as a means for Aryans to convey civilization to Europeans.
